It's Official! Loc Appreciation Day 2013 (#LAD2013) Is June 22, 2013!!!

Hi Everyone!
You are probably very surprised to see this blog update in your inbox but if you haven't been keeping up with the latest I wanted to make sure that you are aware that we will celebrate Loc Appreciation Day for a third year.

So far a Host Collaboration Contest is being held to identify individuals who are interested in assisting with the editing of the collaboration footage that will be submitted from individuals all over the US and abroad shouting out the day and a logo contest is being held to find the newest design for our 2013 tshirts.

I love the fact that locs are very versatile and can take on varied personalities. They embody creativity and are fun to wear.

TETETRESSES:

I love locs because it is the only hairstyle that you can see it grow with you. In a way my locs have evolved with me.

In the beginning it was flat and skinny then it began to bud now it's fully loc'ed and mature.

When I first started this journey I was very shy and subconscious about how others would perceive me but later I began to accept the change and I grew confident as time passed. Now you can't tell me nothing.

DIVADESERTLOCS:

I appreciate how my Locs feel and look. My Locs helped me to appreciate my natural beauty.
